I have spent over 30 years solving the ultimate mystery: Who am I, and where do I really come from?
My own research began with two major gaps in my family tree: my Swedish grandfather's unknown father and my Finnish grandmother's father, who disappeared during the Finnish Civil War of 1918.
By combining traditional paper-trail research with DNA analysis, triangulation and systematic investigation, I was able to solve both family mysteries.
I founded Genetic Voyage to share the methods, tools and research principles I used along the way.
